Biography

Seth Dawson is an associate attorney at McGavick Graves, where they practice in the areas of municipal and government law, environmental and land use law, and civil litigation.  Prior to joining McGavick Graves, Seth served as a judicial law clerk with Justice Debra L. Stephens on the Washington State Supreme Court from 2019 until 2022.  During law school, Seth served as a judicial extern in the chambers of Judge Morgan Christen on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  Before becoming an attorney, Seth served as Senior Legislative Assistant to former Congressman Denny Heck (WA-10) in Washington, D.C., where their policy portfolio focused on the judiciary and civil rights issues, federal efforts to restore the Puget Sound, primary and higher education, labor and workforce development, and Tribal issues.  Seth now lives in Tacoma with their spouse.
